Milliput Superfine White Two Part Epoxy Putty

Milliput Superfine White Two Part Epoxy Putty

Milliput is an excellent choice for restoring porcelain and other ceramics, repairing antiques, objects d'art, Victorian dolls, picture mouldings, and more. It is also ideal for sculpting, modeling, and fixing white domestic chinaware. Additionally, it can be used to fill scores and dents in white domestic equipment like washing machines, refrigerators, and to repair cracks and chips in tiles, sinks, and baths.

Key Features of Milliput:

  • Self-hardening
  • Non-shrinking
  • Tough and durable
  • Highly adhesive to most materials
  • Resistant to water and chemicals
  • Sets underwater and is electrically resistant
  • Molds like putty and sets to a rock-hard finish

When using this particular grade of Milliput, it is crucial to mix the two parts for a minimum of five minutes. Take equal portions from each stick in the pack and knead and roll them in your hands for at least five minutes. Continue until the colors blend together uniformly without any streaks. Mix for an additional minute. The surfaces where you apply the putty should be free from grease and dirt. Smooth surfaces can be cleaned using an appropriate solvent or with soap and warm water to remove any dirt or grease. Abrading the surface will enhance adhesion. Apply the putty, and it will harden within three to four hours without shrinking.

After the initial hardening, Milliput continues to cure and reaches full hardness after approximately five hours at the same temperature. Once fully cured, it can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sanded with sandpaper, and painted. Sanding and painting can be performed immediately after the putty has set.
